About Us

"Jeevan" was founded by Mr. A. K. Singh, a visionary and dedicated to wholeheartedly committed to the welfare and development of the Disabilities by providing the facility of disabled children school. The Center has been serving the Persons with Disabilities for well over 30 years.

Jeevan is a special school for specially abled children offering special attention, compassion and love. The pandemic has been particularly harsh for children. A highly motivated and dedicated group of workers runs the Jeevan

Our workers and volunteers who are determined to impart education as well as vocational skills to the speech impaired children so that they can develop self-confidence, earn a decent livelihood and become productive citizens. In order to help the needy and make him independent, we offer variety of services at Jeevan for disabled children. deaf and dumb school services, speech therapy school services, school for disabled children etc.

  • 01 D ED SE (ID) RCI recognized Diploma Courses.

    The course has very good job opportunities in the Government sector like School, National Institutes, Hospitals, Rehabilitation Centres, etc., NGOs sector and private sector to practice as a qualified professional with bright future prospects.

  • Jeevan runs a special school has experienced qualified teachers working to develop cognitive, social – emotional abilities of children with disabilities the school also prepares students for their vocational skills as per individual abilities.

  • Jeevan is imparting vocational training in various trades for 35 trainees (Boys : 23 & Girls : 12). Jeevan is one of the few Centers sanctioned to Jharkhand mainly based on its earlier dedicated service with very good results.

 

About the Organisation and Institution

"JEEVAN" a voluntary organization which sprang from the abysmal agony experienced by A. K. Singh on having Retarded Children, in family members, made an informal and humble beginning in ts inception in 1992 with a meager strength of 7 children and 2 teachers has grown Exponentially and has completed thirty "serviceful" years to mentally Disabled children of this state. Our mission is : Every child has access to realize their full potential through quality education and holistic learning to become young empowered leaders in their life. .

WHAT WE DO

We put in our best efforts to take care of children with disabilities by providing Child Care Institution under the Juvenile Justice (care and protection of children) act, 2015, Nutritional Support, Special Educational, Medical services, Therapeutic Support, Aids & appliances, Vocational Training, Rehabilitation Program as well as inclusive education non-formal education, Rehabilitation Council of India approved D.Ed.Spl.Ed.(MR) Course. We also run a Special School for Mental Retardation Children with Disabilities under Deendayal Disabled Rehabilitation Scheme under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
