On Line Payment Terms and Conditions

Student: A person registered for a Programme of study with the Jeevan Special Course Programe, or intending to register for such a Programme of study.

Programme: The Programme of study of taught study or research at the Jeevan Special Course Programe.

Tuition fees: The fees payable in respect of the Programme of study.

Academic Year: The Jeevan Special Course Programe year, this runs from April until March of the following year.

Calendar Year: This runs from April until April of the following year.

Fees and payment

It is the responsibility of the Student to ensure that the Jeevan Special Course Programe's Tuition Fees in respect of the Programme are paid at the beginning of each Academic or Calendar Year of study.

The fees must be paid prior to or at registration (enrolment) whether directly by the Student or on the Student's behalf by a third party (such as a relative, employer or other sponsor).

Students are required to abide by the Jeevan Special Course Programe's regulations in respect of Tuition Fees and payments .

The payment of any sums intended to be in respect of Tuition Fees by or on behalf of the Student does not in itself indicate the existence of a contract between the Jeevan Special Course Programe and the Student. A contract for Programme of study provision shall only come into being when the Student registers (enrols) on the Programme of study.

Late payment and late fee charges

Students failing to pay their tuition fees by the due date may have their registration suspended. Students suspended for non-payment of tuition fees may be re-registered on payment of the full tuition fee due plus a re-instatement fee of Rs.1000/- At least 50% of the amount due to be paid by the Student is payable at enrolment, with the balance due by 1 April.

Overpayments and Refunds

Payments made online for Tuition Fees will be applied to the Student's Jeevan Special Course Programe account in accordance with the details submitted electronically.

In the event that an overpayment is made against the total of Tuition Fees due, the credit balance arising will be used to offset any debt or invoice arising from accommodation, library debts or any other legitimate charge in due date order. If there is no other debt or invoice, any remaining credit balance will be refunded in accordance with the Jeevan Special Course Programe's normal refund procedure. Refunds must be requested and supported by written authorisation from the Student.

The Jeevan Special Course Programe will make any refund payable to the card account or bank account from which the original payment was received.

Currency Conversion Costs, Gateway, Bank Charges etc.

All payments made through this online payment facility must be made in Rupees. Any currency conversion costs or other charges incurred in making the payment or in processing a refund shall be borne by the Student or the third party making payment and shall not be deductible from the amounts due to the Jeevan Special Course Programe.

Payments by Third Parties

Payment of Tuition Fees by a person or organisation other than the Student does not constitute a contract for admission to the Jeevan Special Course Programe, nor for the provision of a Programme of study between such person or organisation and the Jeevan Special Course Programe.

Fee Refund Policy

Refunds are typically mailed as a check to the permanent address on file with the Registrar’s Office. Students can elect to have their refund issued faster through direct deposit (E-Refunds) by registering their personal checking or savings account in a Payment Profile at the Cashiers/Student Accounts Self Service website.

If a refund is issued for a term with a credit card payment or a Net Banking, the refund must be issued to the credit card or Net Banking account. 

Receipts cannot be mailed for Payments not Made in Person.

Donation

Online, on the website, we accept donations only in Indian Rupees. You can send in Cheques/ Demand Drafts via snail mail in any currency. Jeevan does not accept donations in cash.

Are there any tax benefits for donating to Jeevan?

All donations to Jeevan are some % exempt from tax . We also offer tax exemption under section 35AC

Will you send me tax exemption certificate?

Certainly. While specifying the details of your donation, just mention that you wish to claim tax benefits. The tax exemption certificate will reach you within 45 working days.

Donations/Refund Policy

 

This Donations/Refund Policy applies to anyone who makes a donation to Jeevan. This policy explains the terms and conditions that apply when you donate to Jeevan.   

Donations, whether one-time or monthly, may be made through the Jeevan, or by mailing a cheque, cash, or credit card information to Jeevan. Cheques should be made payable to "Jeevan".

1.   Tax receipts will be issued for donations of Rs. 5000/- or more.

2.   There is no minimum donation.

3.   Donations, whether made online or by mail, are non-refundable.

4.   All credit card transactions will be processed in Indian Rupees.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and to be construed in accordance with Indian Law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dhanbad courts.
